El taller propone un espacio práctico para explorar, a través de ejercicios creativos e improvisaciones performáticas, cómo las teatralidades pueden materializar la relación entre la creación artística y la defensa de la vida. L@s participantes, de manera individual y colectiva, desarrollarán intervenciones que reflejen sus propias perspectivas y posicionamientos ético-políticos, entendiendo que estas prácticas artísticas toman formas diversas y evolucionan con el tiempo. A través de dinámicas de movimiento, improvisación sonora y creación escénica, conectaremos las experiencias personales con las luchas por la justicia territorial, fomentando un diálogo creativo y comprometido.
Este es uno de los dos talleres que tendrán lugar en la estación de Langendreer. Se puede participar en uno sin haber asistido al otro. El taller se realizará en español e inglés.
Omar Mar G. inició su carrera teatral en 2006 en Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, con la fundación y dirección del grupo Tercer Teatro. Entre 2007 y 2014, crearon producciones, e intervenciones en colaboración con artistas de diferentes disciplinas, principalmente teatro, de diferentes contextos y países. En 2011, el movimiento por la paz con justicia y dignidad surgido tras el asesinato del hijo del poeta Javier Sicilia y miles de víctimas de la violencia en México los interpeló como creadores. Dejaron los escenarios tradicionales para llevar su práctica a las calles y trabajar con memoria y justicia. En 2014 viajó al sur de Chile, al territorio mapuche conocido como Wallmapu. Esta experiencia cambió su perspectiva sobre las luchas territoriales en Abya Yala (América Latina). Como actor y músico tradicional, participó en marchas, conversatorios e intervenciones en defensa del agua, la lengua y el territorio mapuche, aprendiendo de artistas que entendían su trabajo como resistencia. En 2016 estudió Tendencias de la Danza Contemporánea en Buenos Aires, donde una educación eurocéntrica lo llevó a reafirmar su compromiso con las prácticas artísticas del Abya Yala.

The workshop proposes a practical space to explore, through creative exercises and performative improvisations, how theatre can materialise the relationship between artistic creation and the defence of life. Participants, individually and collectively, will develop interventions that reflect their own perspectives and ethical-political positions, understanding that these artistic practices take diverse forms and evolve over time. Through movement dynamics, sound improvisation and scenic creation, we will connect personal experiences with struggles for territorial justice, fostering a creative and committed dialogue.
This is one of two workshops that will take place at the Langendreer Bahnhof. It is possible to participate in one without having attended the other. The workshop will be held in Spanish and English.
Omar Mar G. began his theatre career in 2006 in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, with the founding and direction of the group Tercer Teatro. Between 2007 and 2014, they created productions, and interventions in collaboration with artists from different disciplines, mainly theatre, from different contexts and countries. In 2011, the movement for peace with justice and dignity that arose after the murder of the son of the poet Javier Sicilia and thousands of victims of violence in Mexico called them to action as creators. They left the traditional stages to take their practice to the streets and work with memory and justice. In 2014 he travelled to the south of Chile, to the Mapuche territory known as Wallmapu. This experience changed his perspective on territorial struggles in Abya Yala (Latin America). As a traditional actor and musician, he participated in marches, talks and interventions in defence of Mapuche water, language and territory, learning from artists who understood their work as resistance. In 2016, he studied Tendencias de la Danza Contemporánea in Buenos Aires, where a Eurocentric education led him to reaffirm his commitment to the artistic practices of the Abya Yala.

Der Bahnhof Langendreer verbindet als soziokulturelles Zentrum Kultur mit gesellschaftspolitischen Inhalten. Mit seinen über 30 Jahren gehört es zu den ältesten soziokulturellen Zentren in NRW.
Mit seinem vielfältigen und breiten Kulturprogramm ist der Bahnhof auch ein überregional bekannter Ort: Live-Musik mit dem Schwerpunkt Global Sounds sowie Jazz, Blues, Singer/Songwriter, Indie, Elektro-Pop etc., politisches Kabarett, Lesungen und anspruchsvolle Comedy von bekannten Größen bis hin zu lokaler Kleinkunst. Die Bühnen werden zudem bespielt von lokalen bis internationalen Theatergruppen und internationale Autor*innen lesen regelmäßig bei uns und diskutieren mit dem Publikum. Im Bahnhof Langendreer haben politische Themen in verschiedenen Veranstaltungsformaten, Reihen und Projekten - schwerpunktmäßig auch mit internationalem Bezug - ihren festen Platz. Er ist zudem Treffpunkt und Veranstaltungsort vieler politischer, kultureller und sozialer Initiativen. Der Bahnhof-Langendreer versteht sich damit als Partner für Initiativen, Institutionen, und Nutzer-Gruppen in Bochum. In diesem Kontext entstehen zahlreiche Kooperationsprojekte.
Und getanzt wird natürlich auch! Freitags und samstags bei den regelmäßigen Parties: Hip Hop, Schwulenparty (BO-YS), FrauenLesbenparty (Frauenschwoof), World Club Culture (Globalibre), Oldies und mehr...
endstation.kino + Café
Von Anfang an dabei und seit 2012 ein eigenständiger Betrieb: Das endstation.kino. Das Programmkino im Herzen des Bahnhofs bietet mehrere Vorstellungen pro Tag und ein ambitioniertes, vielfach prämiertes Programm: Dokumentarfilme, internationale Filme in Originalfassung, Raritäten, konzeptionelle Filmreihen, Filmfeste, KinderKino, Filmgespräche, Schulvorstellungen u.v.m.
Neben Cafébetrieb und Kino-Kasse gibt's im Café auch regelmäßig Programm mit Veranstaltungen wie z.B. dem monatlichen „Vinylcafé".
„OFF-Bahnhof"
Der Bahnhof Langendreer veranstaltet seit vielen Jahren Konzerte und Kabarett auch außerhalb des Bahnhofs im Schauspielhaus, im RuhrCongress, der Stadthalle und der Freilichtbühne Wattenscheid. Er ist zudem Mit-Veranstalter von Festivals wie der Odyssee (mit COSMO Radio) und Ruhr-International (mit dem Kulturbüro).
Und schließlich gehen wir mit unseren politischen Reihen und Projekten auch gern mal raus und mischen uns mit unseren Bündnispartner*innen ein ins lokalpolitische Geschehen.
Und nach wie vor... selbst verwaltet!
Der Bahnhof Langendreer war und ist ein selbst verwalteter Betrieb: Das heißt, es gibt formal keine Chefin und keinen Chef, sondern alle Hauptamtlichen entscheiden über wichtige Belange des gesamten Hauses gemeinsam. Ein Trägerverein bietet dafür die formale Struktur.
Der Bahnhof-Langendreer wird aus dem Haushalt der Stadt Bochum mit öffentlichen Mitteln subventioniert.
